FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. What are the estimated travelling times?

2. Do you have to play in all 10 events? No a player may under SIGN UP register from anywhere 1-10 events.

3. Is it possible to share a hotel or apartment with a fellow player? Yes, please forward your name and contact details to the Hi5 Pro Tour and we will try and find you a partner(s) to share you accommodation costs.

4. Are practice balls Free for the players? Yes for the official practice round and tournament days.

5. Additional Practice Rounds. If players wish to visit a course in advance or after an event a COURTESY call should be made to the head professional or manager. Hi5 management will do their best to assist players missing the cut and who travel to the next event earlier than the scheduled event.

6. Do you have to be a Member of the Hi5 Pro Tour? No, however the €125 Euro Membership will entitle players to a €50 Euro savings per event on their entry fee. Membership for European Challenge Tour players as well as European Satellite tour members will be waived.

7. What does the entry fee include? All prize moneys, course costs, range balls during the event.

8. What is the Prize Money per event? As the entry fee is a major element of the Prize Fund, the more players playing an event will create bigger prize funds. In our history of the tour, we have always offered a fair breakdown amongst the players.

9. Is the prize money guaranteed? Yes according to the number of players

10. Is there an official prize money breakdown? Yes go to PLAYERS>REGULATIONS on the Hi5 Pro Tour website.

11. When do I receive my prize money? Once the Hi5 Pro Tour has all the necessary bank information, you will receive your money 14 days after each event.

12. Are there qualified Referees on site? Yes all our events will have a minimum of 2 Royal and Ancient qualified experienced referees.

13. Does the Prize Money count for my National Order of Merit? In 2009 the Hi5 Pro Tour was recognized by the Nordic Leauge which is part of the European Challenge Tour. Please check with your national boards to confirm.

14. Do players receive any Tournament Information? Yes 14 days before each event a “COMPETITOR INFORMATION” sheet will be available on the web site with information regarding contact numbers, tee times, driving range facilities, Pro am info, etc for all participants.

15. Are there CUTS in the tournament? Yes all ranking events will have a 36 hole cut for the top 40 players – amateurs included.

16. Are laser devices permitted? Yes the use of GPS and laser devices are permitted during competition rounds. Devices capable of measuring slope or height are not permitted even if that function may be turned off and Disqualification penalty will be imposed.

17. Do I need to qualify for the Hi5 Pro Tour? No qualification is currently necessary so we remain an open tour. Entries are accepted on a first come first served basis. In the case that an event is over subscribed, a Monday qualifier will be held for 10 positions prior to the event for late entries. The cost for the Monday qualifier will be €100 and successful qualifiers will have a €100 credit towards their entry fee.

18. PRO AMS, Who is eligible to play? Any professional brining a team to pro am event will be guaranteed to play in the pro am along with current top ranked players in the event. The Pros entry fee for the pro am and the regular event following the pro am will be FREE.
