Aguilar sets the pace at 5 under

Carlos Aguilar Quesada from Spain leads after round 1 at El Valle

Carlos Aguilar Quesada is the man currently to catch as he set the pace this week at the Polaris World El Valle Open with an opening round of 66 on the par 71 Nicklaus layout. Aguilar had the 2009 event in his hands last year but finished but ran into some trouble on the final 3 holes so he is out for some revenge this year. One shot behind is Ross Cameron(SCO) and Robert Sture (SWE). The first round was suspended due to lack of light due to the rain and dark clouds that came in this afternoon.

Play will commence tomorrow at 8:00 with better weather in the forecast.
