Pete James enjoying a 3 shot lead into the final round

England’s Pete James was the only player in a strong international field to shoot under par on the Jack Nicklaus Villaitana golf course. James round of 4 birdies and 2 bogeys has him out in front at -2. The 6226 meter long course along with strong gusty winds and periods of rain made it a difficult scoring day for the players. Currently in second position are 4 players at +1, Brad Clapp from Canada, defending Champion Carlos Garcia from Spain, Robert Svensson from Sweden and Sam Haywood from England. Due to the postponing of round 1 today, the event has been shortened to 36 holes, the final round will begin tomorrow at 8:30.
