Hi5 Golf S.L. has the right to make any alterations necessary if the playing field is less than 100.
* A fair payout based on the number of players will then be established as the prize money purse.

CANCELLATION POLICIES If a player must cancel 14 or more days-FULL REFUND. Less than 14 days/more than 3 days-25 Euro. 2 days or less – NO REFUND unless the position is filled by another player not already on the registration or waiting list.

2008 Hi5 Pro Tour – LASER DISTANCE DEVICES PERMITTED

A decision by the Hi5 Pro Tour committee will allow professionals competing to use laser distance finders in the Hi5 2008 winter series . Wayne Hachey, Tournament Director feels  it will give the professionals a real chance to find out their "real distances" in which they can better prepare for the main tours.  Most of the players have the distance devices anyway and we feel as most young professionals are on limited budgets and cannot afford a caddy, this will give them a similar feeling if they had a caddy on their bag.

AGAINST TRADITION?

As a young innovative tour we want to keep up with the times. The advances with equipment and the golf ball the Hi5 Pro Tour feels are much more helpful than knowing your exact distance. A player still must execute the shot and judge the wind and other elements around him in order to hit a shot close the hole.

WILL THE LASER DEVICES CAUSE SLOW PLAY?

The Hi5 Pro Tour feels it will not cause slow play, actually it may speed up play due to players not pacing off from their distance books which are currently used. Players will still be required to execute shots of 50 seconds for the "First to play approach shot"(including Par 3 Tee shot) or 40 seconds if it is a tee shot or "second or third to play shot". The Hi5 Pro Tour follows current European Tour PACE of PLAY standards.
